TASIWA continues to promote awareness of Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) by engaging community groups committed to protecting vulnerable children, ensuring their rights, providing proper care, and supporting their essential needs.
In Magu District, a group working to improve the well-being of vulnerable children recognized the importance of health education, particularly on sickle cell disease, to strengthen its efforts in supporting children living with SCD and their families.
We sincerely thank Pastor Felista Sowane for recognizing the importance of sickle cell education in the community and for being a committed advocate for raising awareness of SCD in Magu District. Together, we can build a more informed, supportive, and inclusive community where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
