TASIWA, in collaboration with Mwanza Children's Action Network (MCAN), is raising awareness about Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) among young people to promote accurate knowledge about the condition, its inheritance, and the importance of knowing their sickle cell genotype.
Through youth-focused education, the initiative aims to address misconceptions, reduce stigma, and encourage informed health decisions. By empowering young people with accurate information, TASIWA and its partners are working towards a more knowledgeable and supportive community.
