TASIWA promoted awareness of Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and encourages community members in Sengerema District to access free sickle cell screening services at Sengerema District Designated Hospital. The initiative aimed to increase access to screening and help individuals understand their sickle cell status.
Through early screening and accurate health information, individuals and families can make informed decisions, seek appropriate healthcare services, and better understand how SCD is inherited. TASIWA continues to advocate for early diagnosis, community awareness, and improved support for people living with SCD and their families.
