Tanzania Sicklecell Warriors Organization (TASIWA), in collaboration with Mwanza Children’s Action Network (MCAN), provided Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) awareness education to religious teachers and pastors.
This initiative aims to strengthen community awareness of SCD, equip religious leaders with accurate knowledge to support individuals and families affected by the condition, and promote informed decisions through understanding of its hereditary nature and genetic counselling. By engaging faith leaders, we seek to build more informed, supportive, and inclusive communities for sickle cell warriors and their families.
